Look:Love this shoe! I've always struggled to find a comfortable black heel. This shoe is cute, yet not too cute that you can't wear it with a suit. Arch support is great too! Look:Very cute shoe, but they run long and wide. The 8M was too big and I usually take an 8 or even 8.5 depending on the shoe. I ended up keeping a pair of Sofft brand shoes called Candra, in a size 8W, which were perfect. This one kept slipping off my heel. Look:I own these shoes in FOUR colors. That may be overkill, but they are my go to for great looking shoes that you can wear with anything. They're especially good for people with wide feet and high insteps. They also have the great Clarks Artisan line comfort so you can stand all night in them and still feel just fine. The Apple Jane is such a comfortable shoe, I gave it 4 stars because the vamp at first rubbed a little across the top of my foot, but with a pair of knee highs or pantyhose it was hardly noticeable. Because I have a narrow foot, the strap across the top allowed me to wear them in confidence they wouldn't slip off. The shape of the toe is much more comfortable than those that come to a point. I enjoy wearing them with jeans or a pair of leggings with my favorite over sized shirt or sweater. I look forward to wearing them with many other fashions as well. The shoe does run about 1/2 size large, but there is very little padding in the sole - so, I stuck with my regular size and put a serious pad inside. All of my clarks shoes have lasted for years, look great, and are very comfortable. I am 23 and am pretty trendy, but I hate to sacrifice comfort. I own these shoes in gray and wear them with skirts, dress pants, and jeans when I go salsa dancing. They are comfortable, sexy, and give you the heel without the uncomfortable spike. I bought these pair based on your customer reviews, at first I thought the shoes were a bit pricey. However, they were worth every single penny and more! The minute I put them on, they were so comfortable and I walked in them all day long without any discomfort. Great shoe for pants and skirts. My only complaint would be the opening is a bit small as many others have mentioned. The size is great, pocket for cell phone and PDA. Leather is very soft and feels "well worn". The shipment arrived the next day as we've all come to admire about the company's service. The Mary Jane Apple is a nice compromise between cute and comfort. It’s an easy-to-wear heel height and comfortable to stand in. The sizing is fairly good. The 8 was a good fit made better with slightly heavier than usual tights. A little more padding in the ball of the foot would be a plus, but I would certainly buy them again. Kudos again to Zappos for the re-stock notification and prompt shipping.
