These are cute enough to be formal at work without killing my feet. I've worn many pairs of ballet flats and they usually feel like walking barefoot with no support, but these are cushioning and feel good. I'll also be wearing them out with skinny jeans or with skirts and dresses, they go with so many outfits. Right out of the box, this shoe was unbelievably comfortable. I usually wear a 10-10.5, but the 10 fit perfectly. I'm not an especially girlie-girl and I was concerned about the bow- not a worry. It's barely noticeable. The itty bitty heel makes it a bit dressier than simple ballet flats and the insole is nice and cushiony. These shoes were definitely a half size too large and especially felt too wide. I am usually a solid 5 1/2. While the shoes stayed on my feet while walking, they looked too big and clunky. Also, the bow on the left shoe was a little crooked. Besides these problems, they were extremely comfortable due to the well padded sole and the leather was dark and good quality. The design is classic and simple. You could tell that these shoes were built to last longer than normal flats. But during winter, and while recovering from a knee surgery, I needed something dressy that was comfortable and reliable to walk (with crutches) in. These ballet flats are cute, comfortable and dressy and I loved wearing them with my cute holiday dresses. The fact that I had crutches just reinforced their reliability. Look:Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Shoe Arch: No arch support Cute and comfortable right out of the box - I was very pleasantly surprised to find a ballet flat that was well-constructed with a decent sole, very cute, and comfortable - right out of the box. I have a somewhat high arch, but this shoe is cut so that it stays on my foot. The shoe was comfortable even with bare feet. I needed no break-in time. It runs true to size. I like it so much that I will likely buy again in a different color.
