I appreciate the synthetic outer sole (rather than leather) because it is not slippery like leather. I also appreciate the leather inner sole, which prevents sweating. I've never had a shoe fit and feel so great right away. I'm going to have to buy another pair for casual because I don't want to wear my other shoes. I am on my feet a lot for trade shows and presentations, what a difference! I purchased these shoes about a year ago to replace an older pair of dress shoes. After my previous experiences of hunting through stores and the agonizing periods of "break-ins" of new dress shoes that still left my feet in pain, these shoes were simply amazing! They had a broken in feel when they were brand new! They are more comfortable than my running shoes and just as classy looking as the best of my dress shoes. For my job I am on my feet a lot and these shoes have never let me down. Of all the shoes I tried, these were the most comfortable. The quality is excellent. Styling is fine, nothing exceptional.
