Look:Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support My favorite shoes! I tried on four pairs of Mary Janes and these were love at first try-on. They're light with breathable soles. They heel is sturdy and attractive and doesn't slip. The 9.5AA fit my 9.5-10 narrow feet perfectly, but they'll accommodate socks or thin insoles, too. Having two adjustable straps makes them flexible and less chafey than shoes with a single strap. The soles aren't super-cushy, but they are firmly padded and very comfortable. These shoes fit perfectly and were comfortable all day long right out of the box. I have high arches, narrow heels, and need some width in the toe box. Unusual for Clarks which tend to be kind of roomy. I may try ordering the next half size up in narrow, though they will be much more expensive as the shoes are no longer on sale. Look:When I first wore these shoes around the house, I thought they were going to be the most comfortable shoes I'd ever owned. However, after a day at work, I was horribly dissappointed. My feet hurt and by the end of the day, I was dreading having to stand for my last client. I am going to try them again with a foot pad, but I'm not optimistic. This happened also with another pair of Clarks this past summer. Maybe they've changed the quality of their padding?I should note that I'm very sensitive to heel height, anything over 1" puts too much pressure on the balls of my feet. These are 1 1/4", which I didn't think would make much difference, but perhaps it did? These aren't bad shoes, and if you don't stand all day long, you will probably love them. Look:I love these shoes! And I love Zappos! I ordered them last night and received them this afternoon. Instant gratification, the service is wonderful. Now, back to the shoe, it's the most comfortable thing I've ever had on my foot, the soles are so cushy and comfy I don't think I'll ever want to take them off. They can go from very casual to sort of, but not too dressy, they are not a glammy shoe by any means, but they're a shoe you can get a lot of mileage out of. Look:Very comfortable right out of the box. I have a wide foot, but a narrow heel, and these fit well; seemed true to size. There was no slipping in the heel. The straps are adjustable, which helps to accommodate a higher arch. Top |
