Comfortable, but a bit too long. The shoes are cute, but they have a gap at the back of my foot. Even though they would stay on when I walked, because of the strap, they looked a bit like "Olive Oyl" shoes.

I got these in eggplant, and it is such a beautiful, unique color, perfect for fall! As always with Clarks, the shoe is comfortable, supportive, and fits very true to size. May feel a bit narrow for wider feet, but I have narrow feet, so they work for me. The sole (including the heel) is rubber with pretty good traction, and lightweight. I will wear Clarks for the rest of my life. They're well-made and worth the money.

I love the look of this shoe, but the toe box is quite tight and I am sending it back for an exchange. I normally fit fine in a 7 1/2, but this shoe runs very short. However, it does look cute out of the box and is worth exchanging.

Clarks "Pine Cliff" This shoe is amazing. I had to say it three times after I put it on for the first time, like an incantation. I had spent the day teaching 4 classes, walking across campus, and later walking 2.5 miles fast. The box arrived (courtesy of Zappos: next day) later that evening, and I slipped this pair over my bare feet: immediate comfort. Imagine your feet getting a hug, on fairly high heels that, thanks to the plateau sole, appear even higher. The style, as in the picture, is somewhat retro, a bit forties, and will get along with a wide range of clothes (skirt-check, slacks-check, jeans-check).
