I contacted them by email concerning my problem and they emailed me back within 30 minutes with instructions on what to do. I called the number they gave me and the young lady who help could not have been better. I was shocked that I wasn't drilled and made to feel like a liar. The best thing of all, the next day when I got home from work my replacement shoes was there and I have to admit they were better than the original ones that I had to return. In fact, I have them on today and I just love them. I tried them on on a whim while waiting for the saleslady to bring out the boots I had originally gone to get and decided I had to have these shoes. So very comfortable and good looking, too. They are wide across the toe box, which is necessary for me as my little toes develop problems on the side from walking and I can't have a shoe that hits these or it is agony all day. Look:As always with Clarks they are so worth the money. A very comfortable and supportive shoe. I love them with jeans, cords and even a cute denim skirt. Great support; I did have a little break in with the strap on top of the left shoe, so I had to go get some of that sponge tape to put inside of shoes so it would not rub. It was just tighter then the other one and that is my reasoning for 4 stars. I got the brown, but I am sure I could use the black as well. True to size and width. Look:These shoes are super cute and very comfortable. I purchased these because I wanted a more grown up shoe. I usually wear sneakers because of comfort and back problems, but wanted something more stylish and appropriate for work. These are perfect, an easy transition and just as comfortable. There is just the right amount of elastic stretch on the straps so the shoe doesn't fit loosely, but still stretches to move with you.
