Look: I wear a 8.5 M in size and have never had any foot problems. This boot was not very comfortable. It was tight across the instep where the toes and foot meet. It also slipped off my heels. The leather is very stiff and the front of the boot rubbed against my ankle when I walked. I\'ve had cheap boots that were softer and more comfortable.Sorry Clarkes but this is a dud. Look:I wear a 8.5 M and have a pretty normal foot; no foot problems of any kind. These boots (I ordered them in brown and black) had to be returned. They were snug around the toes (where toes and foot meet) and slipped on the heel. Also, the leather is stiff and when I walked in them it felt uncomfortable where the top of the leather hit my ankle. They are not soft at all and I have had softer feel on a much less expensive shoe. Sorry Clarks but this is a dud. I got them on sale and wore them all day long the first day, no breaking in needed! The rubber sole and heel give you a feeling of stability and comfort as you walk, and the heels are cuter than most "comfort" boots. The stretch fabric goring gives a perfect fit from the start. I am dying to try Clarks' tall-boot version, Loyal, next! Top |
