Still, the crepe sole gives lots of shock absorption. It takes some getting used to because you have to lift your feet a bit more to avoid tripping. They are comfortable and roomy. I then purchased the Wallabee shoe in a 6.5, which fit snugger but comfortable. The mall didn't have any, so I went on the internet to see if I could find what I was looking for. I come upon Zappos.com and had a lot of choices to choose from. I love my shoes. I hated to spend quit that much on a pair of shoes but I did and once I wore them a couple of days they kinda form to your foot and are comfortable. I had thought about buying these for a while because I needed a shoe I could wear all over the city for errands or to work or out to bars. I was flipping through the April '07 issue of Vogue when I saw a pair of Wallabees used in a spread they did with the Prada miniskirts. I decided if they could pair the two, then I had reason enough to buy the Wallabees. They've proven to be very comfortable, and a shoe that hasn't become too trendy (i.e. Uggs, Converse All Stars ...). It takes a minute to adjust to the gummy sole, but afterward it feels like you're walking on gel. Very comfortable. I have worn them almost every day since the day I got them. They feel great, look great, and they are almost like walking on air. I do have to admit that it took me a few days to break them in - they were somewhat scratchy almost at the area where you tie a bow. But other than that, I can't say enough about them. I can't wait to get them in the burgundy color also. Oh, and a very special thanks for the SPEEDY delivery! They arrived the very next day.
