Look:I bought this Clarks shoe in the penny colored leather as a comfortable summer sandal option to wear with skirts while still being able to walk around the city and keep up with my kids on the playground. I love it! It's a very comfortable footbed. I love that Clarks come in wide widths as my feet expanded during pregnancy and I have a bunion. Clarks is one of only 3 brands that has cute shoes that I can find sizes that fit me. Having to order a wide to fit my toe box makes the heel a little big on me, but I just added a heel grip and they are fine. In short, love the shoe. It's very versatile. Look:I love these shoes! I had tried on the leather version locally in a size 8 and my big toe seemed to hit the end of the shoe. I wanted the smokey brown nubuck, so when I ordered from Zappos, I ordered a half size larger. They were too big, so I returned those and ordered the 8. These shoes were absolutely comfortable right out of the box. This does not ever happen for me. I have a wide foot, and most times even "wide" in other brands are too tight. The weekend after I received the shoes, I took a trip to NYC, where I walked a good part of the day and never experienced any pain or discomfort. A huge thank you to Zappos, too. Both times after placing my order, the shoes arrived the next day. Zappos is THE model for customer service. Look:Really great shoes. Comfortable from minute one. I like the color (I got the blue nubuck). Clarks are great shoes, my favorite because of the fit and style and design. I ordered these in order to have better shoes for my feet that are developing problems and these are great! There was no break in required, I wore them all day the first day I got them, and they were great. I found them to be true to size; I wear an 8.5 B. Look:Great shoe - very comfortable right out of the box!! I usually wear a 9 W (or sometimes a 9WW), but an 8.5 D was perfect in these. I bought the black and then purchased the brown and silver soon after - all great. I purchased this shoe in pewter, thinking it would be a nice shoe to wear all summer with most of my outfits. Unfortunately, it is too large--size 5! The heel area is too loose, so my entire foot slips further in to the shoe, which causes rubbing. Normally I am able to adjust the straps to tighten a shoe, but since the strap is designed with velcro instead of a regular buckle, it is impossible. I have a bunion and have a hard time finding a comfortable work shoe. These are like butter on my feet. I wore them to work for the first time and was amazed how light weight and comfortable they are. Also bought the Pewter color for summer outfits. It wears well for me and I'm on my feet all day, on concrete floors. The heel cup is too loose. I own several pairs, but this one is definitely the most stylish. I will wear this to work with slacks or a little dress. It is very comfortable, but feels slightly wider than my other Clarks, especially in the heel. Not enough of an issue though for me to return them. Top |
