Look:These are really cute! My choice of sandal is generally a thong with a comfortable footbed and all around support, which is difficult to find. These fit the bill perfectly. Because the straps extend to the back there is no "flip flop" slapping. Look:I ordered Clarks Rudder in bronze - I love Clarks and was looking for a more casual, flip-flop type of sandal. I liked the shoe, but the strap across the foot near the toes was just too tight. Look:This sandal is much prettier in person, and more feminine/dressy than it looks in the picture. It's perfect for casual summer dresses. It's so comfortable I didn't need to break it in. I agree with the reviewer who said the sole bed needs to be leather rather than the slick fabric used. I'm not sure why Clarks chose to do this; this is the only sandal of 4 Clarks I own that are done this way. The sandal has good arch support, but the sole isn't as thick as the Rudder or the Persia. If you're looking for excellent arch support, check out the Persia. It's also very feminine. But these are great! The piece between the toes is a soft canvas type material which is very flexible. And the support is great too! I have problem feet and I can wear these for hours!! I bought them because I wanted something comfortable and stylish to wear when I was vacationing in Washington DC. I was pleasantly surprised with these shoes. I walked all over DC for two days and I NEVER got a blister. I was shocked! This may sound gross, but it was very hot and humid when I was there, i.e. really sweaty feet, and I never experienced rubbing or slipping in the shoes either. I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a vacation sandal. They are really cute as well, which seems to be rare for "walking sandals". I bought the brown ones and the only complaint I have is that the leather has a sheen to it. Look: I ordered these in white because I was looking for a comfortable and somewhat stylish casual shoe. I was unfortunately disappointed on both counts. The ridge around the edge of the shoe dug into my arches, and I didn't really like the way they looked. Look:These shoes are great! I have a wide foot that makes it impossible to wear cute thong-type sandals. The cut of this shoe supports my foot perfectly and still is cute and stylish. Look:I really like the style of these sandals, but the top of my foot was just a little red after wearing them a couple of times. The underside of the leather was rubbing just a bit. They feel much better now after being worn in. The padded, contoured footbed is very comfortable. Look:I was very hesitant to order shoes without trying on first. I had tried on other Clarks sandals at a shoe store, so I hoped that my chances were good that I would like them. I've never worn "thong" styled shoes before because they usually hurt between my toes. These were awesome! They felt just as described with no pain or break-in needed. If I made one request to the maker, it would be to give a little extra room on the strap that goes over the big toe. It left a mark on my toe, but it didn't hurt or blister. Look:I have these in bronze leather (from Zappos) and black nubuck. I bought the black ones first and had to exchange them for a half size larger. They fit well at first, but they began to scratch my feet after wearing them outside the house, which is very strange because they are so soft. I ordered them in bronze leather because the black ones felt comfortable while walking around the house. The bronze ones feel great and I could have probably gotten them in my regular size. Look:I bought these for my 10-year-old daughter and she loves them. They are cool and hip enough for her, but much better than the cheaper flip-flops she usually wears. She can wear these all day long because they support her foot while she walks. Unfortunately, my dog really likes them too. I was really excited to find this style on zappos.com. They are truly the most comfortable sandal I've ever worn. Great arch support and the tread on the soles is very secure, you never feel like you might slip in these sandals. Perfect for spring capris and casual skirts. I have a very high instep and a "thick" foot bed. I usually purchase shoes in wide width, but Clarke's tend to run wide anyways.
