When new, the shoe defintely rubs the back of your heels, I got blisters on both feet. Look:Love these shoes, kind of funky looking. Being stay at home mom I thought these would be a good alternative to flip-flops and sneakers. I was right. They look great with jeans. I bought these in red, which looks more like a faded red. The are so comfortable. Only complaint is that I got blisters the first 2 times I wore them. The back of the heel is high and rubbed my ankle a bit. Once broken in they were good. I wear somewhere between a 7 and 7 1/2. Look:I originally ordered these shoes for me. However, my mom tried them on and she loved them. This pair of shoes is all about comfort. It has softened with time but I still need to wear moleskin or band aids to protect my heel from the friction. With Zappos usual courtesy, ease, and speed, I returned the 8 1/2 and re-ordered a 9. Everything feels comfy when I'm in the shoe except the back of the heel. The back comes high up on the heel & is VERY stiff. I won't wear these with socks or hose & most definitely I'm in for a sore heel if I don't use moleskin for the first several wearings. Top |
