These shoes are great. It took a couple of sizes to finally get a proper fit (they run a little big). I've found that I can never get loafers to fit perfectly, but these are very comfortable.

Breaks easily in the front part of the shoe. I bought them 5 month's ago (March 2009), in a Bostonian Store. I notice that from the first day I used them both shoes started to have a line scratch, parallel to the floor. All the sudden, the left shoe broke and now I can used them because of the hole it have's. Very comfortable but too fragile.

These shoes are very comfortable and seem to get more and more so as you wear them. Since you won’t be wearing socks, a half size down from your usual should work (I normally wear a 10.5, but ordered a 10 in these which fit perfectly). The taupe looks great with jeans, chinos, shorts, etc. The stitching is a nice detail and the perforations do a good job at regulating heat. Definitely recommended!
