Look:It’s a very nice looking shoe. The size was a little bit larger than the label. If I were to purchase another pair I would get a half-size smaller. I bought them slightly small initially, but after about a week, they conformed perfectly to my feet. I have 2 major complaints: 1) The toes wore VERY quickly. My right foot developed a hole I could stick my toe through if I desired after about 15-20 wears (but I still wear them because they're so comfortable). 2) The unique soles are worthless in ANY amount of water. I wouldn't wear this style of shoe in the rain, even if it had a full sole, but the rubber grid sole on the bottom exposes too much leather to the elements. Look:Not satified at all with this shoe. The braiding around the shoe wears out way too quick, had to apply crazy glue, but my main complaint is that I already have holes in the toes - way too thin of hide. These replaced my old Clarks Racer, which I needed to order a 1/2 size smaller than usual. The Axcel I had to order 1 full size smaller to get the proper fit. They're a bit snug at first but break in and mold to your foot like a glove after a short period of time. Only disappointment is the lack of a tan leather option like my Racers had. The brown is very nice though, highly recommended. Top |
