I purchased these sandals right before a vacation where I knew I'd be doing a lot of walking. Not only did they fit comfortably right from the start - no first day with blisters, no straps rubbing - they are light and versatile, too. I wore them with jeans during the day and dressed up with skirts at night. I have the gold; in person, the differences between the gold tones are not as obvious as the colors in the photo. Bronze I used silver paint to color with tiny brush as bronze & silver; love it. Black & white goes with everything else. I usually use Think shoes for comfort but these are equally comfy & I don't miss the arch support. I give these the highest praise. The soft sole is cushy & soft straps don't rub. I ordered the bronze and I was stunned at how limp the leather is, it has a used look. There is no way these shoes will last long without the leather tearing. I am so disappointed in Clark, what has happened to your good quality customers could always count on? I paid way too much for these sandals, they will not last a year. Never again Clark, something happened to your company. I am insulted you actually believe you can sell this crap to people. Look:These are great! They look really cute on. I sometimes wear a size 9 and sometimes a 10 in Clarks. Look:These are very cute, trendy, and MOST important for my horribly touchy feet -- comfortable! I got the black ones. The picture is pretty accurate. The black combines patent and "lizard" (also a bit shiny) with noticeable top stitching. The shiny leather makes them look a little dressier so they look good with dresses and skirts, not just shorts and pants. I don't agree with the reviews that said they run big -- just the opposite. There's no arch support at all, but they're not hiking shoes and I have arch supports I can use if I need them. Look:I love these sandals and am so pleased with them. They're really cute and the best part is they were comfortable from day one. There was absolutely no break-in period at all. Look:Being an older woman who still likes to look spiffy, I appreciate Clarks Posy Spring for its style and good looks. I purchased the bronze and buff, which at once unobtrusive and smashing. The shoe is comfortable, light as a feather. Don't expect arch support or cushiony soles. I ordered the black patent and liked the contrast between the shiny dark patent and the white stitching. But the shoe has zero arch support so it's not as practical for long walks as I'd hoped. I love the look of these Clarks and, having worn them for a few weeks, I'm happy with their comfort as well. The straps keep their shape and there is enough arch support to wear them all day. The strap rubs a little after all day wear at the side of my last toe, but I think that is caused by the shape of my foot; I doubt it will be a problem for most people. Look:The perfect sandal! Incredibly cute, comfortable, and reasonably priced! I normally have a really hard time with any sort of gladiator styled sandal because of my high arches due to ballet.
