The UnSheridan solved this issue. I bought this shoe the same day it came out over a year ago. I took 2 shoes on my Scandinavian trip where they don't have "cobble" stone roads they have ROCKS for roads! After 2 hours in my "other" shoes, I put back on my Sheridans for the rest of the trip because they were so much more comfortable. Also: Don't worry about the vents. They are channeled so water would have to flow uphill to get your feet wet! I was very impressed with the comfort as soon as I put the shoe on. I was concerned about the air vents letting in water until the associate assured me that they tested the shoe and that I'd need to stand in water completely submerged for more than ten minutes. The only draw backs are that there are vents on the sides of the sole that lead to the inside of the shoe, that allow water to easily leak inside when compared to similar shoes. Top |
