I'm a big fan of Clarks, but have been very disappointed with this shoe. I have had it for about two months and the outer tread has all but worn away. The stitching has begun to separate at the flex points as well. I should mention that I only wear these shoes at home or during the evenings while out and about. I've had better luck with a $15 pair of Nevado's I got on sale at Fred Meyer 4 years ago. When I saw these I knew I had to try them on and when I did they met all my expectations. Rarely do you find loafers, let alone shoes, that prioritize air-flow, lightness, simplicity and fit. These are the only loafers I have set my eyes on so far and they don't disappoint. I was looking for a shoe with a fairly smooth sole and no toe tread. I got that plus a very good looking comfortable shoe. I have sold comfort shoes for a few years, so I know how a shoe is supposed to feel and support your foot. The fit of shoes is a very personal thing and for me, this is the best shoe I have ever put on my foot! Decent support, already broken in. Great style. I am very happy with this purchase. Was not used to the lightness of them, but boy are they supportive! I’m on my feet from 6-10 hours a day easy, even wore them with jeans and without socks...Can’t say enough about them, good arch, great heel support and with my flat feet (yes retail feet) they work great without biting my sides! Get them if you want your feet to be happy, trust me. Top |
