Since I was a kid I have had a very hard time finding shoes that fit well. I thought sneakers were as good as it would get until I found these shoes. Wow! First, I really liked the look. Then as soon as I put them on I knew they were for me. When I walked around the store I was just ecstatic. With a big smile on my face I bought them without hesitation. Since, I have worn them all day at work in great comfort and coolness (the system is not hype, it really works). I was also at an event recently where I stood in line on a concrete floor for several hours. To my amazement, my arch was not aching and my feet felt great. They are so light and flexible, it is like being bare foot, but with support. I have gotten several compliments about the appearance as well. I was hoping I would be able to share my joy at finding these shoes on this site. Hope my song of praise has been helpful. 2008-11-26 14:03:00 Clarks Un.king Reviewer: Anonymous from Central Coast, CA Overall: Shoe Size: Felt a half size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width This shoe is so light and comfortable. The look is awesome and they are comfortable to wear. There wasn't a break-in period; they were just comfy to begin with. I wear a 9 but fit perfectly in the 8.5. 2008-11-14 13:13:42 Clarks Un.king Reviewer: Ken from Cary, NC USA Overall: Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt wider than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Finally something I can use for driving! My shoe size is 10.5 EEE (on the wide side of that), with a very high instep. I have been looking for driving shoes for about five years with zero luck. The Un.king is the first shoe I've found that serves the purpose and fits. It certainly isn't designed as a racing shoe... No Piloti or Puma sleek style. But despite looking like a clunky thick-soled walker in the pictures, it is actually extremely light, with a flexible sole that lets you feel the pedals. The wide width is enough to comfortably fit my EEE foot with no pinching whatsoever. I know that when you look at the pictures online you will grimace and say that this is useless for driving, but you have to try it on at a store. It's light, breathable, laces snugly but has a lot of give in the upper for a variety of feet. And as I said, the sole feels nothing like it looks. The back doesn't have a true roll-back, but there is a gentle curve that lets you rest on the heel without feeling a sharp edge biting into the back of your foot. And it is comfortable and supportive for general everyday use as well. A winner! 2008-09-21 19:15:23 Clarks Un.king Reviewer: Jeff from Philadelphia, PA Overall: Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support I usually wear a size 10.5 and I fit comfortably into a 10. I also fit into the 10.5, but the arch support wasn't as good. These are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. 2008-06-23 20:06:02 Clarks Un.king Reviewer: Mike from Florida Overall: Shoe Size: Felt a full size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width Sizing way off - I usually wear a size 9 shoe. I ordered a 9, which was way too big. I then ordered a 7.5, which were also too big. Not sure what the sizing is based on, but it doesn't seem standard. Top |
