The fit is good; however, they are slightly more than adequate in the heel and narrow in the toe. As a fulltime waitress in a casino, I was ready to return these shoes if they weren’t appropriate for my 5 day a week, 8 hour shift, like I've done many times before. I didn’t have to! This style has everything I need to look classy and walk super comfortably. The head director of our department and her assistant manager complimented me on them several times. We've had meetings about dress code and shoes have been a big deal between our boss the waitresses. It hasn’t been cheap, looking for the right shoe for this job, nor was it easy. Look:Just got my order and I love these shoes. Very comfortable considering the heel height. I wear a size 9 and these are true to size. I ordered these shoes one day and got them the next. This is the second time ordering from Zappos and I was very happy with my prior purchase as well. The service is great! This shoe is both. The strap across the top holds my foot in place. Clarks sizing perplexes me though. I usually wear an 8 but had to order in a size bigger since toe box is a bit narrow. Very similar style as Clarks Marilla, but a bit dresser. They look great - a classic shoe that I wear when I need to look a little dressier. The heel feels sturdy and these shoes are easy to walk in.
