I need a 1/2 size; the six were too small toes hit the tip. Purchased the 7 and they're too big. Look:These shoes are great! You can walk for miles in complete comfort and if it rains you\'re toasty and DRY at the same time. I recommend these to anyone who does a lot of walking. They are subtle enough to wear with slacks or skirts and maybe a dress. Look:These are fantastic all weather shoes! I bought them to replace a pair of Clarks Cloud that I bought when my dog was a puppy and we were still housebreaking. Those lasted 5 years and were great for dog walking in the snow, cold, rain and mud. These I have to say are even better. They are incredibly comfortable, have a bit more arch support which I like, better traction, are warm and look good. Look:These are waterproof? While I have had these shoes for a while, today was the first time they were tested in a real downpour, and they flunked miserably. Much as I like the style and fit, I returned home soaked to the metatarsals. And yes, that means both feet. I'm disappointed, to say the least. Me too. These shoes are excellent for keeping your feet dry although mine do leak slightly if I walk through a field of long wet grass or right through a deep puddle. This certainly does the job. Is not the hippest shoe around, but then again my dog's not a fashionista! For mushy snow or snow drifts would recommend a boot as the low rise does not protect against ice getting into your shoe. I have a wide foot, but sometimes Clarks fits with a little stretching and after wearing these for a few weeks, the tightness in the width eased. This shoe has a top zipper to make things easier slipping them on and off. I wore them every day for many months as I live in western Washington State, meaning lots and lots of rain and nasty wet weather. They were comfortable and kept my feet dry until one day I noticed that my socks felt damp and discovered that where the seam for the toe guard meets the shoe… leaks had developed. I tried treating them with a waterproofing spray as I need them every day, but unfortunately the shoes just weren't waterproof any longer. These were the first pair of Clarks I have ever ordered due to the excellent reviews. Unfortunately, they only come in whole sizes and I needed a 7 1/2. I tried my heavy socks with them but they "ate" them in the first step and thus, they had to be returned. I liked the blue color, really cool. The shoe felt nice, the zipper was great but unfortunately, I need a half size. Since I live in the desert Southwest, I couldn't justify spending an arm and a leg for a wet weather shoe. I found the Clarks Ice shoe in a local store on clearance. Shoe dilemma solved! They are extremely comfortable, not at all "too warm" for me to wear here. The zippers will make airport screening go quicker, and I am confident that my feet will stay warm and dry when trampling on the "Old Sod" I agree with the other reviewers who would benefit from 1/2 sizes. I had to go up a size, but a slightly thicker sock will pick up the slack. Thank you, Zappos' reviewers; you have been a blessing as I tried to determine which shoes would fit my travel needs. From the exterior shots, the construction appears to allow for a very good arch support. It doesn't. It is almost as if it was molded for someone with a flat foot. It isn't deep enough to allow for my orthotic insert though. I would have returned them, but I have found it impossible to find a waterproof/water resistant shoe with a good tread that has it all. Great grippy soles. Great firm toe while still providing room to breathe. I normally wear a 9 1/2, but since these only came in whole sizes, I ordered up to a 10. They were entirely too big and slid up and down on my foot, so I returned them. After looking at several stores for something similar and not having any luck, I decided to try a size 9 and they fit perfectly. They are very comfy, warm, and great for wet weather. I am totally sold on Clarks. Zappos service is incredible. I placed my order online late on New Year's Day and still got them the next day. I actually need a size Narrow, but no one makes cute shoes in 10 Narrow, so I had to compromise. The removable liner allowed me to slip a shoe-thing under the toe area to tighten it up a little, but a true narrow would be better. They are also very easy to put on and take off. OK, so I'm a lifelong owner of bad feet with bunions that bother me a little more every year as I am in my late 30s! So, other than sneakers or slippers, I have almost given up in finding comfort in a pair of shoes I actually care to be seen in. But I'm pregnant for the first time in my life, and along with some early pregnancy pants to keep my expanding waistline from hurting, I decided to invest in this pair of Clarks shoes for the winter. I was disappointed there was not a wide size, but bought them in the burgundy shade and took a chance. Imagine my surprise when I put them on, and they fit like a dream! This is a huge statement coming from me! I immediately got on a plane to go to Ireland and even at the end of the flight when shoes feel tight after your feet swell, and three months pregnant, and they still felt cozy and comfy. Looks? Okay, so they're not sexy, but the red keeps them from looking too Granola, and they are just perfect with jeans or the dark cords I am favoring for the winter and they don't make my feet look like boats which at size ten is always a plus in a shoe. I tested the waterproof claims in Ireland, walking around in the muck and could just lean down and wipe off the mud with a wet sponge when I got home. Summary? Simply my favorite pair of shoes in I don't know how long, and if I weren't on a little budget after the holidays, I'd order an extra pair just to have on hold for when these babies give out on me. This is my first purchase with Zappos, and they came in with flying colors too...quick and overnight in time for my trip abroad. A+ all around!
