The width is adjustable by velcro closure, a big improvement over some shoes that are labeled AA, but end up much too wide. Walking is very comfortable in this shoe. Look:I ordered Clark\'s Lucena in platinum and am very pleased. My sister had a pair and said how comfortable they were. I really liked the look of hers so I ordered. Look:These are fantastic shoes. I was looking for some decent looking sandals that I could rely on to go on long outings. Planning trips to the zoo, the mall, etc. always made me panic because all of my shoes would hurt my feet and back after that much walking. These shoes are wonderful. Look: Lovely sandals. They look prettier on than in the picture, and oh so comfortable. Since I have narrow feet I usually order sandals 1 size smaller than I take which I did here and they fit perfectly. Look:I wanted a nice pair of comfortable sandals to wear on vacation. They were comfortable the moment I put them on and did not need any break in time. One of my feet is narrower than the other; the Velcro straps let me adjust each foot perfectly. I also ordered a similar looking pair of sandals that were considerably more expensive, they made my foot cramp as soon as I put them on. Look:A relatively comfortable sandal with some flaws that are not immediately evident. First, the pluses: The adjustable straps ensure a better fit, and are great if your feet are feeling a bit swollen at the end of the day. The velcro makes the adjustment simple, but the results are not always optimal because of the tapered shape of the strap, and the positioning of the velcro, one cannot always adjust the straps to a position in which the sandal fits properly. The fit of the sandals was very good at first, but after the leather stretched, the straps were always too loose, and could not be tightened sufficiently for a secure fit. This can be a problem if your sandals take you onto irregular terrain, since they can slip sideways and become unstable. These sandals do run "true to width" when new, but due to stretching, you might want to consider a narrower width than you normally wear. I definitely would not recommend going wider. The length was perfect, even for a person with long feet. The level of support is not the greatest, I'd probably rate it "ok", but not as good as other Clarks sandals I've owned. In terms of appearance, they are dressier than many of the other Clarks styles, and look great with slacks or a skirt/dress. Look:This sandal is great. Slightly dressy and very comfortable. I can wear it with pants or a skirt. They looked so good I ordered a second pair to save for whenever the first pair wear out. I also purchased in the off white color. Very comfortable and did not require any breaking in or getting used to. I wear a size 11 B and they seemed true to size. Look:Believe it or not, got these shoes for a very dressy wedding. I have hammer toes, heel spurs and lots of other discomfort in my feet. Needless to say, I can not buy "the usual wedding shoes". Got these. They are so comfortable, I may even be able to dance with my Godson, the groom. Was very worried that I would look "weird". My two daughters and my grand-daughter told me they were really great and that I looked good. They are not the kind of people who would just tell me the shoes looked good. They absolutely nixed the shoes I was going to wear to my 50th High School reunion, so I had to get different shoes for that. Look:Love this shoe. This is the most I have ever paid for a sandal but well worth it. I have a heel spur and needed the comfort and it does not disappoint. They are also gorgeous and I get compliments every time I wear them. I have a very narrow foot and it is really hard to find fashionable good looking shoes in my size. Look:This is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. The Velcro closure makes for perfect adjustment, and the footbed is exceedingly soft. I wore these for the first time to a square dance and danced all night with aboslutely no discomfort. The next day, I wore them again! Look:Wonderful comfort featuring a wide foot bed. Many "wide" shoes just add more leather at the sides so that a wider foot can get into them. However, it is not comfortable, secure, or supportive if the foot is hanging over the side of the bottom of the shoe. These have a correctly sized base, with supportive arch contours. The tops are soft and velcro-fastened so one can get an exact fit. This also allows loosening during the day if foot swells. For a supportive sandal, these are also very attractive. I bought the pewter metallic, and they look quite dressy (heels are out of the question for me). Look:Wonderful Shoes! I have a double wide foot and the extra wides really do fit. These shoes look way better on your foot than in the photo. Very attractive. I have them in the metallic and have received many compliments. They have a Roman-Greco look to them that is very much in style right now. Arch support is adequate and heel height is perfect for shorts, capris, dresses. Look:I have trouble finding wide shoes and these are just perfect because they are adjustable. The colors are good; I have them in black and bronze. Look:So. Full disclosure: my feet are messed up. I've got no arches, a wide toe box and narrow ankles. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and have had numerous cortisone shots and 2 surgical procedures. My criterion for buying shoes is usually buying the pair that hurts the least. Finding shoes that are actually comfortable is a luxury I feel is reserved for people with "normal" feet. So when I finally find shoes that not only don't hurt, but are actually comfortable and stylish, well that is cause for celebration. Desperate for some summer sandals, I ordered maybe 6 different styles and brands of sandals from Zappos and the Lucerna's felt great immediately! I first ordered them in black and realized I had to get another color. I got the pewter metallic; they are very versatile. This is way more than I would normally spend on a pair of shoes but I can wear them around all day and not be in agony. Look:I needed new sandals for a trip to Greece and wanted something really comfortable to handle all of the walking - this pair did it!!! I wore them out for dinner as they were dressy enough for most of the places we went, and also wore them during the day for sightseeing. They had to go back. There is a little too much sole in front of the toes, but otherwise fit well.
