Good, fun office solution, with or without square AD glasses. I am on my feet a lot during my commute and do a considerable amount of walking. Not only are these shoes comfortable but they also look great. Even people in my office have complimented my shoes! They were not the most comfortable shoes for two days but they really just needed to be broken in. Now that they are I love them. They are perfect for me also because I have such wide feet. I cannot wear too many different brands of shoes because most don't make shoes for wide-footed oafs like me. Clarks has now joined the respectable ranks of New Balance and Timberland. I would definitely get another pair of these. The brown also works quite well with blue jeans. I found it. The shoe runs 1/4 to 1/2 size large, so order a little smaller shoe than you would normally. Also, it has a roomy toe-box, but the mid-food area feels true to width. It's a flat shoe with very little arch support, but the sole has some cushion to it. I was utterly impressed with my first pair - Mercury Black, and these Monrovia's did not disappoint. Some of the canvas accents on the side fray with use.
