I opened the box and tried them on, they were very classy looking and felt very comfortable, however it was about one size larger than my size 5 and the width was wider than anticipated, and unfortunately they don't a smaller size. They are both very very cute. I did make the mistake of trying to wear them for an entire day and I did get a blister on one foot. I think they just rub my one foot in a weird place because the other foot was fine! I have been looking for a flat that was the perfect "red" (not too bright or obnoxious, but also not a deep red either) and also comfortable and these work great. I did order a half size down, and that worked (surprisingly) for me. These shoes are versatile, adorable, and comfy- perfect. I have a long and narrow foot, and while the shoe seems to fit my foot well, I don't think the fit is quite as good as Clarks "Demure" flat (another very cute shoe). This shoe has some arch support, soft liner, cushiony sole, and cute. I didn't believe that I should order a 1/2 size down cause I always fit in a 9. I reordered for an 8 1/2. This shoe is great for my capris at work, with my (flare) jeans, and even some work trousers. I am happy with how comfortable they were for travel. I also expected them to be fairly well made since Clarks usually are but I thought they were pretty industrial-looking (seams a little ragged and edges of leather unfinished on the top detailing) and the inside was "squishy" and soft but not necessarily very comfortable... I think it's the kind of "squish" that goes away after you wear them a few times and I wasn't impressed. For the price, they were OK, but I'll keep shopping around for something a little sturdier. The shoe was very cushy! But my fears were confirmed when I got these in the mail - take a look at the peep toe in the photo, it's very far up and shallow. You could barely see the tips of my toes! I felt like part of my shoe was missing. Bummer. Also, the stitching across the top of the toe is really cute, rubs a bit on the inside if you're barefoot. If you wear a B/M then order Narrow if possible. The size was correct. The shoes were super comfortable. Hated to have to return them.
