For a 2"-plus heel, they are exceptionally comfortable. They were like a glove from the first moment I put them on. I stand a lot conducting choirs and my feet don't hurt at the end of the day. The soft sole helps a lot to cushion walking impact. The one small thing is, they're slightly clunky in terms of a dress or pump look. This shoe is comfort and quality only the way Clarks can do it! Too tight around the peep toes. Heel is a little too high for any long day activity. The strap on one of the shoes is too tight even on the last hole. I typically don't wear shoes with this high of a heel because I have lower back pain and the nature of my job, outside pharmaceutical sales, requires a lot of physical activity. BUT these shoes are so comfortable, classy, and the ankle strap adds a bit of sex appeal while remaining appropriate and professional. Every time I wear them...even strangers compliment them! Of course, I tell them I found them on Zappos.com and Zappos has the best selection, ease of ordering and I also receive all my orders earlier than expected!!! It's covered enough for work, but the peep toe and the side cutouts give it just enough sex appeal. I have narrow heels so I often have problems with heel slippage, even in shoes with an ankle strap, but no problems with this one. The heel height isn't too high and is comfortable for all day wear. The multi-textured leather looks very nice in person and adds a lot of interest to the look of the shoe. Top |
