These boots are by far the most comfortable boot I've ever owned - and they look fantastic too! Over or under jeans, with a skirt or dress pants, these boots look great with all. And the rubber heel absorbs the pressure which is great for my back (and also eliminates the loud clomping in my office). They are very comfortable, and fit very well. They were a little smaller than I expected, but it wasn't a problem as I had ordered them a little large. They're one of my most comfortable pairs, and I can wear them for hours. Clarks shoes normally run a half size large (so I wear an 8.5 instead of my usual 9), but these boots don't (9 fits perfectly). The leather and zippers are high quality, and the boots look expensive. But my first pair [after much searching] yielded these fabulous boots. Note to self: Always start a shoe search with Clarks! I'd have saved myself tons of time. However, now I have perfect go-to boots, and no other boot can hold a candle to them. Supple rich brown leather, funky details, but wearable with dress skirts to jeans, well fitted, no break in needed. [I'm 5' 4", so the 14" shaft was great. 15" circ fit calves; has space for jeans tucked.] Well worth the investment.
