Look: Shoe Size: Felt a full size smaller than marked Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Fit is strange, but overall a good buy - I generally wear a size 5, but after trying these on locally I decided to buy a 6. When it arrived I found it to be painfully tight. Eventually I cut the elastic (it's hard to tell from the picture, but there is a hidden wide elastic strap underneath the top flap of the shoe. I left the small elastic that wraps around the button intact) and that improved matters, but the shoe was still too tight so I removed the insole. The insole was very comfy, but without it the fit is much roomier and the shoes are still very comfortable. One shoe also has a weird habit of getting the very tip of the shoe dented inward, so I may have to put a bit of something in the tip to stop that from happening. I walked all over Italy for two weeks, never having a break-in period, and never felt one bit of discomfort. I have a lot of problems with my feet and was looking for comfort - I found it and bought two pair. Will highly recommend this shoe to everyone who has to be on their feet. It has a removable foot liner. I also have a narrow foot and this shoe fits me very well. Very comfortable, looks good with slacks, I even wear it with little toe socks and go with the no sock look with capris. I wear this shoe everyday, all day. I would like this shoe even if it didn't accommodate the orthodics! I have to have the orthotic due to plantar fasciitis, a real bummer. One foot is a 10 and the other foot a 10.5, both are narrow. I bought an 11N since 10.5N are about impossible to find. They slip just a bit on the heels and the elastic might prove to be bothersome, but the jury is out on that one. It's a little clunky and not beautiful but one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever had. No break-in period at all. I am leaving for a 3 week vacation in 5 days and I needed these shoes to take with me!! So I got on here, talked to someone via Live Help and he said if I order before 1pm PST they will be here by Friday the latest (with 2 days to spare before my trip). So I did. The shoes arrived THE NEXT DAY!!!! I swear I think there is a Zappos representative waiting outside my door 24/7... that's the only way I can explain this amazing service. I already had a hard time finding comfy shoes and now I can only wear flat, rubber soled shoes with lots of cushioning and support. They were the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned from the moment I put them on. No breaking in needed. I love them and want to own every pair of unstructured shoes that Clarks makes. You will not be disappointed. I wear a AA narrow and was concerned that they would be too wide. They are just right. I got this shoe because I wanted a winter slip-on shoe that I could wear with my orthotics. I bought the oxford version of this shoe at a Clarks shoe and loved it. I wear them when I'm traveling and do a lot of walking. But I wanted a slip-on pair for every day wear.
