I do a lot of walking around and standing in a manufacturing environment. Even with orthotics, this shoe is the most comfortable that I've worn in my 55 years. Due to my foot issues of bunion and hammertoes, it can be difficult to find comfort, but this was it. Unfortunately, I tried them out on a rainy day and the top part of my feet got damp (not soaking wet, but damp). They're not regular rubber boots, they have a silicone-feeling coating on top of them so I think this permits water to pass through a little. Great for style, but if you're looking for functionality, skip the money on these. This shoe accommodates the extra-wide foot (with a high arch, as well), and it looks good. I have two pairs in black and will order another brown pair. I'm a 3E with medium arch, and shoes never fit right for me. These are perfect and required zero break in time. The toe cut is wide so the shoe is not tight at all. Top |
