I ordered them in black and they were unbelievably comfortable... except for the metal ring. It dug into my foot so much I couldn't walk without pain. I tried using moleskin and covering the ring completely, but it just seemed like way too much trouble. The footbed is amazing! It feels like you are wearing sneakers. The metal portion does cut into the foot and becomes very irritating after just a bit of walking. The footbed is really comfortable and everything is fine except for the O-ring. It hurts like hell! The top and the bottom part of the ring dig into the bones at the top of my feet. I was sorely disappointed. However, I liked the way they look so much and they are extremely comfortable other than that that I got those adhesive padding you put on calluses, etc and put them on the bottom of the ring. It feels better with the padding. It's almost not worth the effort for a shoe that should be of high quality but I just love the look of this shoe too much.
