Look:I really like these shoes/flip flops... they offer good support and a smooth footbed. When I first tried them on... my foot slipped from side to side. Look:These are good looking thong sandals. The arch support is excellent for this type of sandal but they seemed a little wide on my feet (but I have long narrow feet). The thong took a little breaking in but is comfy now. I have them in black and love that green, but will have to wait for now. They have great arch support! As an elementary school teacher I only purchase/wear very comfy shoes. I found these two years ago (Tahiti & Bora Bora) and have purchased them each summer since. I have them in three colors. They last well but I have purchased 6 pair so that even when they are no longer available I will still have them. I normally wear 7 1/2 to 8 but needed these in 9. Before buying this shoe, I had worn a similar (more athletic), rubber, flip flop made by Reebok. These are far superior in that you can dress them up or down depending on your outfit, outstanding arch support (for a flip flop), leather feels and wears great, and the traction on the bottom is impeccable. It has an arch in the center of the shoe, so it provides some support when wearing a flat shoe. There is a no-slip bottom so even if you’re walking on a slippery surface, your feet don't slip out from under you AND they are comfortable. Very nice shoes, although not cheap. But I've always loved Clarks, and am not disappointed in these shoes. I have a very small foot (size 5) and am never sure if what I get online will be OK. very happy with these and will probably wear them until they fall apart. I'm not much of a flip flop person, but I have these in 3 colors! I normally wear a 7 1/2 narrow and have tried both a 7 and an 8 in the Bora Bora. Very comfortable, nice soft leather and overall a great fit (with good arch support for walking). But don't plan to wear these to the beach ... they are too nice to ruin. One note: I wear a size 8 - 8 1/2 W. I purchased my pair in a size 9M, and they were a perfect fit. The padded leather footbed and strap make it much more substantial and comfortable than your average, foam flip flop. The sole is rubber and has a good tread, so you can walk on damp surfaces without risking life and limb. Unlike regular flip flops – deadly in the rain! I have wide feet, so I could use a tiny bit more width. Zappos service keeps getting better!
