Look:Bought these shoes looking for an everyday durable comfortable shoe for fall, winter and spring, cool wet weather, or even light snow. Was initially very pleased. Very comfortable and durable. Once it snowed lightly for the first time; however, I found that these things are as slippery as ice skates. Very poor traction. Well, once I realized this I adjusted and went on wearing them in wet/dry conditions, but not icy. Now it's been not quite a year and when I stepped in a shallow puddle this fall I found that the heel had worn through on one of my shoes. He has worn them every single day at a construction site in Indiana winter and summer. They're completely worn out by now and I'm thrilled that I can find them again. I think he'll buy two pairs this year.
