Clarks attention to detail - I am an old time Clarks wearer and have been pleasantly surprised by these boots. They are roomy and comfortable and completely waterproof. I have had them 4 months and am a concrete finisher and they seem tough enough. Good Boot.

These shoes almost killed me! These shoes feel great on my feet. I was glad when I bought them. I thought I made a great choice. It wasn't until a rainy day did I find out that these shoes are a death trap. I was slipping on surfaces which were not slippery in my normal everyday footwear.

After wearing a pair of Clarks for a number of years as my all purpose water-proof walking shoes and wearing them out (righteously: they lasted very well under extreme use!) I was eagerly looking forward to getting another pair; I was very disappointed for my efforts. I ordered one pair of these in the size of my original pair (13M) and found them quite tight; ordered another in 13wide and tried them out. I found the soles poorly shaped and very uncomfortable... the lacing system was bunchy and unwieldy. Although I only tried them indoors to avoid scuffs, I couldn't imagine the bottoms doing much in the traction department. I don't know if Clarks has gone downhill or if I just got a bum pair but I can't really recommend these.
