I had plantar fasciitis and after buying one to two hundred dollar pair of shoes to simply walk, it was suggested to me by one of my friends to try Clarks. It’s been 4 years and I’m pain free. I won’t say Clarks cured my plantar fasciitis, but I will say “Clarks are made with obvious thought and consideration for our feet”. I do have VERY high arches, and but never thought I had narrow feet, and my size 11 feels a little too big. I slip around a bit. They are comfortable, but I don't want to walk around in them all day (of course I'm wearing them now!). I would definitely recommend them, they are good Clarks (are there bad Clarks?), but just don't expect to be walking on air. I bought them for Mexico trip in February, and wear them lots. There was absolutely no break-in period and the piece between the toes is a soft fabric not a heavy scratchy piece of leather so there is no irritation between the toes. I wear mine everyday, around the house, to the YMCA, to the beach, or errands. They still look like new, still fit great, still feel great, and there is absolutely no wear and tear on them. Also you never feel as if you have to struggle to keep them on your feet like some other flip-flops! I've bought both the Tahiti and the Bora Bora styles in brown leather, which is the only color the department store carried. Great for beachy vacations. Usually I wear a size 8 1/2 wide shoe, so I bought the size 9 sandal. I have a wide foot and these fit perfectly. I can wear these for hours shopping as they are so comfortable, and my feet do not bother me at all as they would in an enclosed shoe. Love summer! Thank you, Clarks. :)
