Zappos had the replacements in the mail to my APO before I could get the first pair back to them. These shoes are a full half size smaller than I usually wear. Very rarely do I rate anything as a 5 (or 10) but this is a very nice and comfortable shoe. I had intended to wear them with no socks with shorts but that doesn't work out very well as your feet tend to stick to the removable insert and it wants to come out when you remove the shoe. I also agree with some of the other reviews in that the shoe seems a little larger than size advertised, may a half size. Looks great, nice sole. However, I have a foot built for a 12 1/2, which nobody makes for some reason and the 12 that I tried to try on was way too small, more like an 11. Wonderful shoe, went on like I'd put my foot in a snug blanket immediately and I wore them right out of the box for hours without any problems. Support is wonderful as is, but since I have big foot problems I have removed the insoles & placed my orthotics inside - couldn't be more snuggly. Clarks shoes don't require "breaking in" to be comfy! I had a remarkably similar Clarks shoe (only difference was that there wasn't a seam at the top tongue) & wore it for the last two years most every single day without a problem. Not much wrong with it, so I will nit-pick: The color is slightly off from what I thought it would be. They looked darker on screen, but that could be my computer. I hated to return them, but had to because I felt a ridge / lump under the ball of the left foot. I’m waiting for Zappos to get my size again so that I can reorder. I actually bought these shoes for my husband in black and he wanted them in the tan because he swears by Clarks...and rightfully so! They are the best, I mean he loves them and I absolutely love them too. I actually wear them around the house; if we wore the same size I would steal them from him. I'm actually contemplating getting myself a pair in a man's 7, that's how comfortable they are.
