They lasted for 8 years and Im so glad to see them again. No doubt I am getting them again. 2007-11-12 04:05:50 Clarks Air Mover Reviewer: Rob T from Columbus, OH Overall: Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Awesome Shoe - The pair I have, both shoes have blown out the sides, but after 8 years, what I expected. These shoes have been the best pair of shoes I have ever owned. I went to the store to find another pair and they did not carry them anymore. I thought they were gone. I am very excited that I found these on the web site and I am placing an order now for the replacements. Thank you so much for making a great shoe that has lasted me 8 years. 2007-05-20 10:57:08 Clarks Air Mover Reviewer: Anonymous from Wyoming Overall: Shoe Size: Felt a full size smaller than marked Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Used to be good shoes... I've worn Clarks for twenty years now. Old Clarks were great shoes, these are just okay. The China Clarks are too narrow and fit tight. They take a few months to stretch and break in, almost unbearable for the first few weeks! I've had mine for a year and a half, wearing them around three days a week and they are almost worn out. The leather isn't as nice as the English Clarks. They don't last as long. The comfort is just average. The price is higher than what I used to pay. Ahh, I love the global economy ;) I don't recommend these especially if you have an average to wide foot. Try the Natureveldt instead or another brand. I won't be buying Clarks anymore. 2007-03-27 04:13:53 Clarks Air Mover Reviewer: Jerry H from Bowling Green, Ky Overall: Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Shoe Arch: No arch support Bowling Green, Ky - I have worn Rockport and New Balance walkers for years and was told Clarks were far up and above all others, well I purchased the Air Movers and they do look great and after 4 hours I had to go home and change shoes. The second day I tried to wear them I made it all day (in agony) and waited about a month and tried them again, same problem. So, now they are taking up very expensive space in the closet to never be worn again. 2007-03-14 12:47:12 Clarks Air Mover Reviewer: Anonymous from Minneapolis, MN Overall: Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support I love this shoe - Most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I just had a pair wear out that I wore 2-3 times per week for the past 9 years. Never replaced the soles but I did replace the laces, insoles and had $40 worth of upper body work done by a shoe maker. 2007-03-10 08:45:55 Clarks Air Mover Reviewer: Anonymous from Washington Overall: Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support Clarks Air Movers - My husband crushed his foot several years ago, and since then, the only shoe he can wear day after day, all day is the Air Mover by Clarks. They are the most comfortable shoe he has ever worn, and ordering from Zappos is the easiest, fastest way to get exactly what he wants. 2007-03-07 19:04:57 Clarks Air Mover Reviewer: Anonymous from Austin, TX Overall: Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Over-priced and over-rated - I walk about 30-60 minutes a day, so I wanted to get a very good shoe. This has to be one of the most over-priced, over-rated shoes ever. 1. Very expensive. 2. Very heavy 3. Doesn't accommodate any kind of orthotics because the insole is custom for this shoe. 4. Tore my socks at the heel, which has never happened to me with any other shoe. 5. The insole is VERY soft and doesn't really provide much support. Feels like you are walking on marshmallows. Also, very poor heel control. After a few months of wearing these, my ankles were killing me. 6. Laces are too high up on the shoe so you can't tighten them adequately for a narrow foot. 7. The sole is curved up at the heel, so it is difficult to stand in them. 8. Not attractive, especially for the price and comfort level. 2007-03-02 09:33:30 Clarks Air Mover Reviewer: Lawrence A from Rancho Palos Verdes, California Overall: Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support Great Shoe--one pair fit well (black) and one pair of same size didn't fit. You are looking for the second pair (brown). The length was fine but the width and volume in the front was too small. 2007-02-21 14:51:51 Clarks Air Mover Reviewer: Jan V Overall: Shoe Size: Felt a full size smaller than marked Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support Europe Air movers were better - Formerly I used Air Movers, they were fantastic, I couldn't buy them in Europe(Holland) any longer, then I ordered three pairs in USA, but they were much to narrow, I think the ones here were wide, the ones I used were made in Portugal. Nowadays the Air Mover comes from China. Now I read many other reviews, with the same complains: to narrow, it's a pity, they were the best I ever had. Never tired feet! 2007-02-15 05:39:58 Clarks Air Mover Reviewer: Keith S from Columbus, Ohio Overall: Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support The best shoe I have ever owned - For fit, feel and comfort these shoes can not be beat. 2007-02-14 18:48:07 Clarks Air Mover Reviewer: Anonymous from Tennessee Overall: Shoe Size: Felt a half size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support Brown fits better - I have worn this brand 20 years, most recently replacing with 2 pairs, black and brown. Previous reviews have complained of a tight fit. I have also noticed this problem with the black shoes; however, the brown fit as I remember, that is extremely comfortably. I experienced the same problem with a now-discontinued Clarks brand I bought 2 pairs of in the late 1990's, one in black and the other in suede brown; the black pair has always felt better than perfect (and remains the favorite pair I own after all this time) while the suede has always felt too tight and quite uncomfortable. Previous reviewers have wrongly attributed the tightness of fit to the country where the shoe was made; the explanation is more complex, as I have noticed Clarks stamped "made in" at least 5 countries; perhaps the suppliers of the raw materials have changed as time has gone on. 2007-01-02 20:09:43 Clarks Air Mover Reviewer: Andrew C from Riverside, CA Overall: Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support I bought a pair of these shoes in 2001 and wore them for a better part of 5 years. They were wonderful! I have wide feet and wearing them at a Clark's store for the first time was fabulous! I wore the pair for the better part of a every day for the past 5 years and loved them. But alas, the sole split and so I happily went back to Clark's and bought the same pair in the same size. But it didn't fit as well. I thought that maybe I needed to break it in - but over the past few months, I've pretty much given up. The toe portion is really narrow (especially on the Left foot) and feels like it is compressing a nerve as I can't wear it more than 4 or 5 hours before some of my toes go numb!! I thought it was just me but reading some of the other reviews, it looks like it is the shoe that has changed. Pity, this was the best shoe I had ever worn. 2006-11-03 11:58:42 Clarks Air Mover Reviewer: Bob M from Grant Pk, IL Overall: Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support Clarks Air Mover - Have been wearing Clarks for 20 years. The only shoe that I wear. They are most comfortable, last forever, and fit right so they can be ordered and not have to return. 2006-10-25 04:31:34 Clarks Air Mover Reviewer: Anonymous from DC Overall: Shoe Size: Felt a full size smaller than marked Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Not the same shoe - I had two pairs, bought in 1994 and 2000 each lasted 5-6 years. The third pair, bought in late 2005 has never worked for me. It's much tighter through the toe box, narrower, and really impossible to wear all day. The old model was far better. Please bring it back. 2006-09-07 15:10:32 Clarks Air Mover Reviewer: David L from Searcy, Arkansas Overall: Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support Air Mover - It is a good shoe which I bought for the comfort it provides more than anything. The only exception to the shoe is that it squeaks loudly when I walk. Other Air Movers I have purchased did not have this problem. 2006-07-27 23:39:28 Clarks Air Mover Reviewer: Anonymous from San Jose, California Overall: Shoe Size: Felt a half size smaller than marked Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support New releases not as comfortable - I bought a pair about 6 years ago which were the most comfortable shoes ever. I bought new ones last month but they just don't feel the same...Too narrow and the cushioning is noticeably harder now. I was quite disappointed. 2006-02-26 06:21:48 Clarks Air Mover Reviewer: Bill S from Michigan Overall: Shoe Size: Felt a half size smaller than marked Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support A painful love/hate relationship. These are very fine quality shoes. Construction is well done- fine materials, and all that jazz. I have very good luck with Zappos, they're a great retailer. I have great luck with Clarks' shoes, too, but I can't wear these Air Movers for more than a couple of hours before the pain is so bad I can hardly walk. 2006-02-09 19:14:47 Clarks Air Mover Reviewer: Loren W from Fort Myers, Florida Overall: Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Thinking that I would have to live with sore feet and back until I bought these shoes. They make me feel I am walking on marshmallows. After a little over three years as the only shoe I wear to work, with just a little bit of care, they look like and feel like the first day I bought them, You can not go wrong with these shoes. I wear thick socks with them as recommended by Clark. 2006-01-17 06:22:08 Clarks Air Mover Reviewer: Anonymous from Boston, MA Overall: Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support No good anymore - I've bought a pair of these every year and until they were made in China they were comfortable and met expectations. They are EXTREMELY narrow. I had to put two wool socks over a shoe tree to stretch the left shoe. I had to do this for a week before it was tolerable. If you wear a wide width shoe like I do, I would keep looking for a different shoe. The arch doesn't feel as high as the older pairs either. I would have paid more to get a pair of the same quality that I got that were not Chinese made. It's a sad day for me because I now have to hunt high and low to find a decent shoe that I can walk and stand in. Good shoes are hard to find... 2005-12-21 07:35:03 Clarks Air Mover Reviewer: Terry L from Sumner, Ia Overall: Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support Great shoe- These shoes wear like iron!! I have 2 different size feet and these are the only shoe I have ever worn that I do not run over on the small foot. The only criticism I might offer is the upper eyelets seem to cut the laces fairly quickly. Also the laces are not standard size. I live 50 miles from the shoe store that carries your product. This is a hassle when a shoe string breaks. Without a doubt these are the finest shoes I have ever owned. Thank you for your product. This is the first time I have ever offered an evaluation. I feel that strongly about your shoe. 2005-10-21 07:03:13 Clarks Air Mover Reviewer: Anonymous from Purcellville, VA Overall: Shoe Size: Felt a half size smaller than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support My Husband Loves these Shoes! Since he discovered Clark's Air Mover, it's hard to get him to wear anything else, even to parties! 2005-10-08 11:54:14 Clarks Air Mover Reviewer: A F from morro bay, california Overall: Shoe Size: Felt a full size smaller than marked Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support A different, inferior Clarks shoe - I have worn the air mover for 12 years. I bought a new pair, same size, same width as always and they were considerably smaller and narrower than the previous pairs. They now have a very wierd fit and don't feel like they have the same quality. I see they're now made in China. Oh well, time to switch to a new brand. Too bad, the old air movers were by far the finest shoes I ever owned. 2005-10-04 19:13:00 Clarks Air Mover Reviewer: Don V from DETROIT Overall: Shoe Size: Felt a half size smaller than marked Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support These used to be good shoes - I have been wearing this style for many years, I needed a pair about 9 months ago and bought my 3rd pair. They are not the same quality as when they were made in England or Portugal they feel too stiff as if the material isn't as natural. They are made in China now and the quality isn't there anymore, but they are priced as high as they used to be - no savings with the cheaper labor - a pity. I will not buy anymore Clarks and will be buying Ecco or SAS.... 2005-09-20 16:35:41 Clarks Air Mover Reviewer: Marc B from Los Angeles Overall: THESE THINGS HAVE CHANGED! My 5 star rating is for the older version (made in Portugal) and not the new ones (Made in China). I've worn these things for over ten years, every day to work. I have nerve problems in my feet and these shoes literally saved me when I found them. I thought I'd take'm to the grave, except the new ones fit totally different. The look the same, but when you try them on, they are much much smaller. I sent them back. Luckily, with Zappos I was able to find several other brands of comfort shoes that will replace my Clark's. Still, the old Clark's hold a special place in my heart. 2005-09-09 09:23:08 Clarks Air Mover Reviewer: Anonymous from Western New York Overall: Shoe Size: Felt a full size smaller than marked Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Smaller that previous editions. I have four pairs currently and have owned five pairs. 1 brown natural, 3 black and 1 regular brown. The last black pair ordered 1 year ago felt too small(tight). Still have not loosened up. I am now afraid to order again unless I try a larger size. The materials seem to be about the same, just size problems.
